The cheeky get!
Everton had matched Cardiff's asking price of £5 million for the 17-year-old wunderkind and the decision of where to move ultimately lay with the player.
And, despite meeting with David Moyes last week and being assured of first team football with the Blues, Ramsey appears to have been swayed by Arsene Wengers promises of guaranteed Carling Cup football next season.
Either that or the lingually impeded Frenchman swung it by flying Ramsey and his family, including assorted cousins and 'valley boys', by private jet to Switzerland for an all-you-can-eat buffet of Emmenthal and Toblerone.
In other transfer news, sod it, gossip, David Moyes himself is over in Switzerland and is, apparently checking out the form of Portugal's pint-sized midfielder Joao Moutinho.
Actually, that's unfair on the Portuguese playmaker as he actually weighs in at a hefty 600 milliletres.
Though just 21-years-old, Moutinho already captains Sporting Lisbon and has been capped 13 times by the national team.
He is also said to favour a move to the Premier League so no doubt clubs like Man City and Newcastle will already be making a note of his agents' number to offer him the GDP of an Eastern European country on a weekly basis.
