Or, what with them being footballers and all, it was probably more like the first episode of Big Brother, with Jan Mucha and Jermaine Beckford stood in the foyer, making awkward small talk and wondering if Joao Silva or Magaye Gueye will be next through the door.
For those of you that've not heard - and I can't imagine it's many as this can't be anyone's first port of call for breaking news - Everton have tied up a five-year-deal for Strasbourg striker Magaye Gueye.
The French under-21 striker has agreed to join the Blues despite "reported interest from clubs in the Premier League".
In other words Bolton had had a look at him!
With the arrival of Jermaine Beckford and Joao Silva, Gueye is the third young and untried striker signed by David Moyes this summer and you have to wonder if they'll all be shipped out on loan by January.
Another player that has signed on the dotted line is Leighton Baines.
The former England full back (as that is what he's surely become) has signed a new five-year-deal with the Blues and follows Tim Cahill, Jack 'striptease' Rodwell and Seamus Coleman in committing his future to the club.
And, in one of those weird signing on pics it looks like Baines was snapped filling out a customer satisfaction survey in an airport departure lounge.
Either that or he's doodling a 'kiwi' on some of Robert Elstone's paperwork!
Still, you'll have to go a long way to surpass waht is surely the pinnacle of all signing on pictures...Stephen Hughes leaning on a tree at Bellefield!
