Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has refused to rule out a summer swoop for Everton misfit James Beattie.
Is probably how the story will be worded in the paper.
And will be followed up by a story linking Gary Naysmith with one of the two 'Glasgow giants'.
But, by what Strachan has said, it does sound quite promising.
Celtic's ginger gaffer said of a move for Beattie: "I know James, but if I was going to do something with him, I would talk to his manager Davie Moyes first."
He added: "There's a lot of names, a comprehensive list and, for all I know, James Beattie's name might be there somewhere."
Which is a bit of a mad thing to say as, if anyone is going to know who is on that comprehensive list, it's Strachan.
And it does make sense as Beattie is a player that he used, to great effect, in his Southampton days.
And you can just picture Beattie smashing in 40-yarders against Kilmarnock next season!
