The under-21 international was apparently spotted after he recently scored a 'wonder-goal' against Scotland under-21's.
Presumably it's the second Azerbaijan goal in this clip...it 's a good goal but not really that good!
There could be some substance to this one as the player is pictured here undergoing what looks to be a medical...or a least a little foot rub!
The story would also seem to fit in with what appears that this summer's transfer policy - snap up as many unheard of foreign youngsters as possible to send the Park End into a 'get the kids on' frenzy when we're 0-1 down at home to Blackpool with three minutes left!
