One for the ladies...

Just by way of a catch up, Everton Ladies currently sit fifth in the table, 10 points behind leaders Bristol Academy and with just the seven games in hand!

Their season kicked off late due to the Women's World Cup being held in September and they started well enough, beating Barnet Ladies 6-0!

Since then the Blue Birds, as they probably wouldn't thank you for calling them, have notched up wins against the shite, Doncaster Belles, Sunderland, Watford, Leeds and Chelsea.

The only team they have not taken three points from this term is Birmingham who held them to a 1-1 draw in the midlands.

They have also played three European ties, but have not made the quarter finals of the UEFA cup as they won just one and lost two of their group games.

A 3-1 win over Valur Reykjavik was not enough to see them through after back-to-back 2-1 defeats to Frankfurt and the unlikely named Rapide Wezemaal.

Tonight's game against third placed Blackburn has been called off and so the Blues next match is against, title favourites, Arsenal.

The Gunners girls are the only other unbeaten team in the division and sit one place behind Everton with a game in hand.

The match kicks off at 1pm on Sunday December 2nd at Marine's College Road ground and a win could see them in third spot.
