Anyway, the ladies start their chase for the 2009/10 title on Sunday August 16th...that's the day after the fellas kick off the chase for fifth spot...at Leeds Carnegie.
It's not a bad start for the Blues as Leeds finished 6th last season and were beaten 5-0 by Everton at the Halton stadium but did hold the Blues to a 0-0 draw at their place.
The season then really kicks off on Sunday August 23rd when Everton face Arsenal Ladies at home and then play last year's third placed team, Chelsea, at home on August 30th.
So by the start of September the race for the title could already be taking shape!
Everton play the return match down at Chelsea on September 20th and face Arsenal awayon October 25th.
There'll be no derby matches for Everton Ladies this season as it looks like Liverpool's 11th placed finish last season was enough to relegate them or something...shame!
So, if anyone fancies watching the Blue Belles next season all of the fixtures are up on the official site (here you go) and, one important point, they've left the Halton Stadium so it's all back to Marine's ground in Crosby!
