The Frenchman missed the end of the last campaign with an ankle injury, but he is so eager to be ready ahead of the new season that he's set himself a gruelling pre-season fitness programme.
Saha, whose career has been interrupted by a series of injuries, is in a special boot camp in France in the aim of prolonging his career.
He told the Daily Star: "I'm sleeping in an oxygen tent like Michael Jackson did to boost the healing process and recovery after training.
"I do it because no-one plays forever and I want to make the most of the career that I have left.
"I hate pre-season but I love to get back training to touch the ball again."
Meanwhile, Toffees boss David Moyes has revealed that he is likely to use Seamus Coleman more in defence next term.
The 22-year-old, who earned a nomination for PFA Young Player of the Year, was used in a midfield role by the Scot during the last campaign.
However, Moyes said: "We have still got to see whether he can cope as a full-back in the Premier League.
"There will be a little bit of a change over next season as we will look to move him a bit further back and maybe he can develop into a right-back.
"In the first six or seven months of last season he gave us great impetus, he was the one we were looking to in spells.
"That fresh, real honest, just glad-to-be-on-the-pitch approach was something the supporters recognised and appreciated."
