Brighton boss Peter Taylor said: "Bobby can play 10 times better than he's playing at the moment. It's vital we get three points against Cambridge on Saturday and if he scores one goal he'll be away.
"Walter Smith was watching this game but it may not have been Bobby he was here to see(Yea, whatever Peter). There were other players on show, including Preston's Jon Macken who is on the transfer list. I've always said Bobby won't be going anywhere this season."
Whether Everton sign Zamora is still very much up in the air, but Taylor's assertion that the player won't be going anywhere is very much wishful thinking, his £3m price tag will be too much for a club the size of Brighton to turn down.
