Rooney breaks England record

Rooney scored the equaliser that lead England to a 2-1 win over Macedonia. At the tender age of 17 years and 317 days, he beat the previous record held by Micheal Owen.

Interesting to see Rooney score when he was essentially playing in central midfield. Maybe that is the position for him.
