Moyes took the decision after Everton beatc Charlton 1-0 at the weekend to raise themselves to 4th in the Premiership. With next oponants Blackburn playing in midweek, our next game is not until sunday, so a rest period could easily be taken.
He said: "Well we're certainly not talking about [a place in Europe] at the moment. We are just pleased that we continue winning. I am going to give the boys a couple of days breather now, they had 120 minutes in midweek, they have played 13 Premiership games and got themselves up to fourth and into the next round of the cup, so they deserve a break."
"We'll look at things, we'll take each game as they come and we deserve the praise we are getting because we have worked really well together."
