"It was poor. It looked as if every time they crossed the ball into the box we were going to lose a header," he complained. "I think the players changed their attitude to the game in the second half. Football's about having great technical abilities but a lot of it's about having heart.
"In the end we didn't get it (an equaliser) and we didn't really deserve to get it after our first-half performance."
Everton were terrible. For the first time this season they actually seemed to be not trying. Bad games, bad luck and bad days happen, but the work rate of the players is completely under their control, so there is no excuse for this sort of shambles.
