Nyarko has been on load at the French club sine the start of the season, after storming out on Everton. Rumors have persisted ever since that a permenant move was on the cards.
Everton Chief Exec Micheal Dunford said "We had preliminary discussions with Monaco back in January. They now have an exclusive 14-day period if they wish to pursue a permanent deal but as yet we have not had any contact from them."
Recently, Monaco coach Didier Deschamps said: "We see Alex as a vital player for us in the seasons to come and he has done well to set aside the traumatic incidents at Everton. He is a true and talented professional."
