He told the News of the World: "When I started playing 17 years ago it was more like a big family and players went out together.
"But the game has changed a lot in the last few years and I don't recognise myself in that game any more so maybe it is time to do something different.
"It is not a question of retirement because football is my passion and the thing I want to do every day.
"Coaching is a different world and if I did coach I would like to do it in England. I have spent the last seven years here and it seems to suit me and my family."
I'm not sure if a player as ill disiplined as Ginola could coach, but he certainly has the talent and experiance for it.
