Every cloud has de Silva lining

Anderson de Silva finally arrived at Goodison in January, he must have loved that after playing at Malaga, after the Blues kept up interest in him for 18 months whilst his work permit was sorted out.

The midfielder has been in and out of the first team squad since his arrival and has made just one appearance for the first team.

That was as an 88th minute substitute for Mikel Arteta during Everton's 2-1 over Charlton in April.

And David Moyes is considering keeping him on at Everton as the Blues will need a strong squad to meet the demands of European football next season.

But no-one really seems to know much about the player and, given his fleeting appearance against the Addicks, we've not really had chance to have a look at him.

The signs don't look to good if the official site is anything to go by though.

The only adjective they could come up with to describe the midfielder, and bear in mind he is Brazilian, was 'tall'!
