CHange beer is owned by Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi (good job he didn't name the business after himself!) who is a close ally of Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Certain news agencies, most notablly the Financial Times, are saying that this indicates that Mr Shinawatra'sinterest in Liverpool has come to an end. Oh dear, never mind.
