Everton Owner Bill Kenwright has assured Everton's fans that Joseph Yobo will sign a permanent deal. The defender is currently on loan from Marseille, and signing him after this season will cost Everton £4m.

Kenwright said "The terms of Joseph Yobo's transfer from Marseille were agreed prior to him joining us on loan at the start of the season. Nothing has changed that and already we know that Joseph wants to stay here so I can't see anything stopping him joining Everton permanently by the time we have to take up his option in May."
Everton should (!) make £3.5 from the sale of Alex Nyarko to Paris Saint Germain, should the French side take up the option to make the deal permanent.
