Everton defender set to move
David Moyes is ready to offload the 30-year-old to the Turkish side for between £2m to £3m, depending on who you believe, either way it will be a boost to the manager's own transfer spending plans when the deal eventually goes through. The deal had been held up by a Turkish FA ban on Fenerbache buying or selling any players following a match fixing scandal, but that has now been lifted.
The latest delay was that Yobo's representatives are the same as the ones who work for John Obi Mikel and they have been busy negotiating the release of John's father, Michael, who was kidnapped last week in Nigeria but finally released on Monday. Now the move for Yobo could finally been given the green light.
