Everton close in on Healy deal.

The Irish midfielder has fallen out of favour at Park Head and is free to leave in the Summer. However, Everton may sign him now for a nominal fee.

Everton chief executive Michael Dunford told the club's official website: "Preliminary talks between the two clubs have now taken place. But it is still unclear whether he will arrive in the transfer window or wait until the end of the season."
