Everton & Liverpool chase Arsenal's Pennant

Pennant, who was on loan to Leed United last season, has struggled to establish himself at Highbury this year, and is thought to be available for around £2m.

Pennant is out of contract in July, and Everton did have a bid of £1.5m turned down in the summer.
