32-year-old Carsley (yeah, I thought he was a bit older too) has played in every Everton game this season and has been an integral part of the team as he was in the 2004/05 season.
Stubbs, now 35, has played just 17 games but has been outstanding at times this season and should, in my opinion, be offered an extension if only to save a repeat of his farcical move to Sunderland!
In truth, it's likely that both will be offered contracts as the sqaud simply cannot afford to lose more bodies.
