Deadline Day Update: Everton edge closer to Nugent deal

As Everton's desparate search for a striker moves into its final hours, it is looking more and more likely that Preston star David Nugent will be Everton's only deadline day signing.

Fees from £3m to £4m have been mentioned, but nobody from either club has made any official comment.
