Coventry have reportedly refused Everton's 1.6m offer. Sky Blues Chief Executive Graham Hover said: "That's the end of the matter. We are not accepting the figure they have offered.

"We are not in the business of letting our players go cheaply.

"We have a responsibility to our supporters to try and get promotion and that means we will not let players go for anything less than we believe is their right valuation."
