Carsley signed for Coventry for £2m

The Republic of Ireland defender has been one of the Sky Blues best players this season, and they are unlikely to want to sell him. However, Coventry are massivly in debt, some £60m according to press reports, so they may have no choice.

27 year old Carsley joined Coventry in December 2000 from Blackburn , and has made 50 apperances for the midlands club. He also has 18 international caps.
