The Blues' young striker is one of three uncapped Premiership players as Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor and Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha have also been called up.
But with experienced strikers sucj as Newcastle's Obafemi Martins and Yakubu of Middlesbrough in the sqaud it's doubtful that the Everton youngster wil get much of a look in.
It just means that we're likely to miss him, and Jospeh Yobo, come next January when the African Cup of Nations is in full swing!
