Alex Connerty has Primordial Dwarfism (MOPDII) and the "Walking with giants" campiagn hopes to enlighten peole about the condition and promote a positive awareness in the United Kingdom and Europe.

And now Jimmy Ball (Alan's son) is right behind the fund rasing effort and will co-host a fund raising evening in Maghull.

The "Tribute to Alan Ball" evening will be held at: The Maghull Community Association, 604 Green Lane, Maghull on Thursday 16th August (this coming Thursday).

Howard Kendall will be guest speaker for the night and also confirmed for the event are Ronnie Goodlass and John Bailey.

It is also hoped that, amongst others, Colin Harvey and Derek Mountfiled will also be at the fund-raiser.


Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start and a hot pot supper, raffle and Irish bingo are all included in the £20 admission price.
