disappointing could some up the match but we could have been knocked out of the cup if Husle's half volley gone in instead of coming back off the bar.
Crewe must take a great deal of credit for being able to flustrate
Everton for the entire 90 minutes but the Blues did not create enough chances of their own and when they did Clayton Ince provided a more than able barrier
and he quite rightly won the Man Of The Match award, well done Clayton
from another member of the goalie's union, although mine is only from five and seven aside matches !
It does give the Everton players something to think about for the replay, how do we beat this man ? As I said I never seen the match live I had to settle for the
highlights later on but I listened to the match live on five live, thanks to the earphones and car radio of messers Pender and Young who where working at Dundee with me,thanks guys ..Everton have two live matches,if they can take
care of Crewe in the replay that is !!!
The Crewe match is live on Sky and if we can get passed Crewe we have a
trip to the Riverside to face Boro live on the BBC,hopefully we are still in the Cup after then !!! If the rumour mill is to be beleived, then the club are interested in Clinton Morrison from Crystal Palace the fee mentioned is five million pounds.
On Saturday we have the the little matter of a Merseyside derby,we need
the points but so do our red neighbours for different reasons. They are chasing the championship and we are slipping nearer the exit door of the Premiership again ! Oh I hope we win this one on Saturday it will or could
go along way to puting the smiles back on the faces of the long suffering Evertonians and it will stop my mate John from over celebrating his 34th birthday ! I want to come to work on Monday and not be threatened
with the dreaded phone call from Nick on the second floor when his beloved Liverpool beat Everton...after last season surely we are due a bit
of good luck, maybe if I wear my Lucky Grey away top we'll win ! Superstitious or what !!!
The only other bit of news is that the club's disciplinary hearing is
now on the 5th March for the battle of Fulham. The only thing left to say is Come On You Blues...
