Well after the highs of Hampden came the absolute lows of Amsterdam! I don't mind losing to the Dutch, they are a good team after all! But to lose 6-0 is just unbelievable! Not one Player can take any credit from their performances against the Dutch; they were all just awful, Really, truly, awful!
Scottish woe
But give the Dutch credit they did play sixy, sorry sexy football with flair players such as Sneijder, Van Der Vart and Van Der Meyde and of course the man that All teams know all about in the Premiership, the predator supreme, hat-trick man Ruud Van Nistelrooy, he was on top form as he tore the heart out of Scotland.
So now after the red Light night in Amsterdam the Scottish players and fans know that Portugal is no longer a dream it was a nightmare! Only England will carry the flag in Euro 2004 as Wales also failed at the last hurdle losing 1-0 at home to Russia another hard luck story for the Welsh and I really feel for them and the ex-Everton man now Manager, Mark Hughes.
I would have liked them to qualify after all the heartache they have had to take over the past few Qualifying campaigns. So now Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic can only watch In envy as England look forward to the draw for Euro 2004 at the end of this month, Good Luck To them it will be a great competition in a lovely country . As for our boys Gary Naysmith was subbed at half-time and James McFadden tried in vain But with no luck, oh well just means you can have a long break in the summer lads !!!! Now we move on to this weeks crunch match with Wolves and a must win match for Everton. But we have had reports of trouble in the camp with a training ground spat between David Moyes and Big Dunc!! What is this all about? (Craig I promise I won't say it!)

Who knows but people with red hair do have short fuse's! I don't know but I hope that it does not effect the plans for the game on Saturday.
Before I go I would just like to say the following:
* Belated Happy Birthday Uncle Tommy
* Congratulations to Craig and Mairi on the birth of their first son, Alfie, a new Everton Fan in the making!

*Thanks to all who contributed to the Charity Children In Need Mixed Football matches Last Friday, we raised £800 and the winning team were BBC Resources who beat Radio Features 3-0 in the final and Sport 3-1 in the semi-final, I loved it when we beat them!
And on a sad note former Everton inside forward, Eddie Thomas passed away on the 12th Of November, our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
