Fulham Part 2.....0 !

King Kevin must have been reading the Everton Mad pages last week to see him getting rave reviews from me and his boss David Moyes joined the Campbell fan club this week with a glowing review of his performance in the Fulham match.

Indeed I thought Campbell, Yobo, Li Tie and Radzinski all had great games and Radzinski in particular was really unlucky not to score . The Blues were boosted at the start of the match when Joseph Yobo was given his Goodison debut and Lee Carsley his first start of the season. This performance was typical of the old style Everton digging in to get a result when it mattered and knowing that after Wrexham in the Worthington Cup we have matches against Manchester United and Arsenal in the next two weeks!

The Blues won this match with goals from the in form Kevin Campbell and Thomas Gravesen within a minute of each other in the first half. As with the last match v Fulham the talking point was the off the ball incidents at the end of the match. Campbell went down after a kick in the ankle and all hell broke loose...people pushing and shoving so much so that Van Der Sar's handbag fell over!

Is this going to be an on going part of this fixture? The FA will wait and see .....! I am happy with this result and the team's general dig and performance but I will be happy if we get two points out of the two Giant fixtures in the coming weeks!

Other Everton News Everton have invited Albion Rovers keeper Scott Shearer down for a weeks training with the club.Scott 21 saved a penalty in his club's 4-2 win over Queen's Park on Saturday. His manager Peter Hetherston said that this week is a coaching week not a trial week!

He is rated very highly and there are a few big clubs watching him. Scottish Scene Results from Scotland
